Shayne Corriea
Founder/President
Sacramento Women Achieving Greatness' mission is to engage, educate, empower, and support a diverse community of professional women through our 3 pillars: Personal and Professional Development, Philanthropy, and Public Policy. SWAG is dedicated to creating a sisterhood that is committed to enriching our community while helping the women and girls of Sacramento become the best versions of themselves.
Storytelling
The Yolo County Library in Davis hosted Shayne and SWAG for a night of storytelling. Women from all over, between the ages of 21-80 joined the empowering workshop. SWAG members lead the event by sharing their individual stories and helping the attendees create their 3-5 minute impactful stories through a guided workshop. There were tears shed, laughs and amazing connections made.

Womenomics Presentation
Shayne participated in the 2019 What IF conference held every year by Impact Foundry. The Womenomics seminar was an engaging discussion about women’s financial history, buying power and provided education around financial strategies including funding the right retirement accounts, protecting your family with life insurance and budgeting tips.
Racial Healing Event
Shayne and her son, Jesse, participated in a panel discuss around Racial Healing hosted by Anita Ross and Women for Equality. The moderated panels took a deep dive into the issues and trauma people of color are facing today and the toll oppression takes on a person. Each panelists shared their unique stories and perspectives allowing the audience to engage and understand how to take a step forward in helping each other navigate these times and their feelings.
